Mobipocket Reader 6.1

Mobipocket Reader is a great e-book reader for Windows computers. The reader is absolutely wonderful but what really makes this a great application is the bookstore that supports it.

Mobipocket.com has plenty of books that you can download, and finding your favorite books is a breeze. The reader itself has quite a lot of features. The graphical user interface resembles that of iTunes. With a command bar on the left and the list of books on the right, Mobipocket Reader makes it absolutely easy to read and enjoy your books. The reading of the book is done on simple, plain screen, so there's nothing to say about that. But you can organize your books in many ways. You are even given a book shelf view to sort all your books, for which you can add or download metadata from online resources. There is of course the list view, but that isn't fun. Once you purchase a book, you can treat it like it's your own. You can write notes on the book and even highlight words and add notes that are attached to certain words. The list of features goes on. Mobipocket Reader's latest version is 6.2. However, this review deals with version 6.1. The application is free!
